You may probably have already noticed that the Intel AMT Developer Tool Kit (DTK) is marked "This download has been temporarily deactivated. Please check back at a later time". I wanted all of you to know that this is due to some technical and some non-technical issues that we are working out Internally. We will make the download available to you as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for the interruption and the whole team is working hard to make this product available for download on the community. I will update this post as soon as I hear more details. Thanks

Any estimation as to when it will be available yet?

The team is really focused on getting this fixed as soon as possible. I have been told that we should have the software available for download in 2 weeks time. I will update this blog post with any schedule updates I get from the team. thanks.

Here is the update from the project manager --
"We are currently addressing few issues on the tool. I hope to be able to finish everything by end of next week.".

Still no post? It's past July 15th. Just wondering if we will every see this great tool again? I have about 10 desktops in a SMB environment I would like to use it on as we can't afford a second server just to run ALtris or something of that nature.

Phil,
I apologize, I wish we knew upfront about the process and the undertaking. We are learning as we go here and I'm giving you the same estimate I get from the development team.
I have escalated the issue to increase the priority. Good news is that Ylian is back and he is working hard to make the software available as soon as possible. http://softwareblogs.intel.com/2008/07/16/back-from-vacation-amp-dtk-status/

Thank you for all your comments. Using your comments I have escalated the issue pretty high-up. Finally it looks like people are paying some attention that this tool is really important and deserves some attention. DTK really started as a skunk works project to help developers develop applications quickly. Only now it is getting all the attention thanks to the interest shown by all of you. Unfortunately, with higher visibility comes higher scrutiny in a corporate world and the reason the software is currently not available. But, I really hope to have this tool up on the site as soon as possible.

Is there any chance of an update? It's been quiet for a long time now. Any time frames in the picture? I do appreciate the difficulties but the DTK is essential for my work.
