Day 3 at Cannes

Today, I helped mentor team 6 who is doing a documentary on a tattooist/tattoo-artist and capturing his impressions of the Cannes festival. I followed them on their interviews and shoots around Cannes and got to witness their inside-out knowledge of the cameras which they specifically used to create a slow-motion effect directly from the camera in order to ensure a smooth slow motion effect later in the editing. I also witnessed some nice effects the students did with some green screen shots they had and their playing with the background in the editing. Amazing how much the technological knowledge level of the students has changed since I was a student...the Moore's law of University students...Tune in for some more tomorrow and check out the student films here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=aZVxMF63Mik&feature=user
