		<description>All on track!

Yesterday alls students and mentors have arrived in Cannes. The last preparations happened and this morning the action has started.
We are all accommodated in small apartments all around this beautiful village. The weather is pretty bad because it is raining, but this could not lower the mood of the teams.

This year the Reel Ideas Studio are guest of the Short-Film-Corner here in Cannes and the work of the students will be more visible because of that.
We will have two studios both are equipped with Intel XEON based workstation for the postproduction. The smaller one is in the Short-Film-Corner and is open to the public to watch. The other is bigger and in the office area. Because it is out of the public reach the briefings will happen there.

Today we started with the briefings and the students were listening carefully to the mentors, explaining what traps they could find in Cannes, where the best locations will be and how to use the new amazing HD cameras from Sony. Tomorrow they will use them for the first time and the camera-men of the teams are exited and a little bit nervous. It will be my job to go out with them and help with my photographical knowledge and my experience. I’m nearly as exited as them to start the practical part.

Now we goanna meet for a dinner to prepare for the Reel-Ideas Studio happening tomorrow.

Greetings from Cannes
