Seems like everybody wants to get their products in front of Small and Medium Businesses. Why? Because it's a huge, dynamic market. But this very nature makes it a tough nut to crack. The same thing that makes it a big market makes it very diverse. Its diversity makes it difficult to reach. On the other hand, if you focus and pick a target within that market, you can reach a good number of people.
I've had the pleasure of being a part of the team that recently launched the Intel Business Exchange, a web site and program we've designed to showcase real solutions to small and medium business problems. The site features software, solutions, and services from Intel Software Partner Program members that run on Intel architecture.
What's different from things we've done in the past is that we've tried hard to steer clear of the "speeds and feeds" that you might tell the average business decision maker about only to watch her eyes glaze over. Instead, we've put stuff up there that we think matters to businesses, that helps them answer questions like
... and more. The important thing is that we want to put our software partners' products along with Intel technology out there in a way that makes sense in the business context. Software vendors are developing products and solutions that use Intel technologies in marvelous ways, and we've started Intel BX in an effort to showcase those solutions. Have a look. Tell me what you think.

The short answer is, "You gotta start somewhere," and we just kicked off the program on May 1. Tell me about your ideas for Intel Software Parnter Program members (existing and prospective) who fit the bill and we'll investigate.
