Benq MID some specs from IDF

By Wei Du (Intel) (10 posts) on April 6, 2008 at 2:47 am

Benq demonstrated its Mobile Internet Device based on Atom in Shanghai Spring IDF. There is not much information to be disclosed except that there is a spec. sheet below. I have a discussion with some of the Benq folks and it is most likely that this device may find its way into mainland China market at a later date. This is yet another OS implementation based on Moblin. WWAN connectivity maybe possible in the final retail product, as there is a SIM slot next to the battery pack compartment from what I could observe.
